UNICEF is mandated by the UN General Assembly to monitor whether governments worldwide comply with the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Over 100 people work from their branch office in The Hague.

The Challenge

Good planning is essential to get the optimum benefits from meetings and meeting rooms. At UNICEF, a lot of informal discussion arose out of how best to manage the availability of meeting rooms. The organisation realised that it would be advantageous to see in real-time which meeting rooms were available and for how long.

The Solution

As the result of a recommendation, UNICEF were made aware of our partner GoBright. With their GoBright Meet – Room Booking solution, our partner was able to solve UNICEF’s problem. GoBright’s answer was to combine their software with our LED lighting digital signage displays at the meeting rooms.

The Result

By implementing the GoBright Meet – Room Booking solution, UNICEF provided its employees with an immediate, real-time overview of meeting room availability. Also, it enabled users to schedule a meeting in advance via Outlook, thus optimising the usage of the rooms. In addition, the LED display allows for information on meeting room availability to be displayed directly in each room, which offers employees an easy-to-use solution.
