At LabCampus, different companies and external visitors share a central meeting area. With multiple organizations using the same rooms, one question needs an immediate answer: is this room available?
By combining the anny booking platform with ProDVX room displays, LabCampus makes current room availability immediately visible directly outside each meeting room.
LabCampus offers a central meeting area with 12 shared spaces, ranging from traditional meeting rooms to high-end boardrooms and creative workshop spaces for 2 to 40 people.
These rooms are used by a variety of tenants, including the Technical University of Munich, as well as external visitors and staff from the nearby airport.
Although all bookings were managed through anny's booking platform and could be checked via the anny Display App, LabCampus wanted to make the process even easier by displaying room status directly outside each meeting room, allowing tenants and visitors to see at a glance whether a room was available, occupied, or about to be used.
LabCampus needed a solution that would make room status instantly visible while keeping the booking process simple for everyone.
LabCampus installed a ProDVX display outside each of its 12 meeting rooms, connected to anny's booking platform.
Each display shows real-time room availability and upcoming bookings, giving users a clear overview without opening an app or searching for information elsewhere.
Need a room right away? Users can make a booking directly on the touchscreen, with changes automatically reflected in the booking system.
The APPC-10SFN (R25-7281) was selected for its combination of practical features and clean design, making it well suited for a modern meeting room environment.
Its integrated LED status bar makes room availability visible from a distance, while the interactive touchscreen allows users to book a room directly at the door. The device also features an integrated NFC reader.
A particularly important factor in the hardware selection was Power over Ethernet (PoE+). With both power and data delivered through a single Ethernet cable, there was no need to install separate power supplies at each of the 12 rooms. This significantly simplified the installation and reduced the cabling required throughout the meeting area.
anny is a German AI-first booking platform for meeting rooms, desks, parking spaces, and other shared resources. The anny Display App runs directly on the ProDVX devices and keeps the information shown outside each room synchronized with the central booking platform.
Bookings, cancellations, and last-minute changes are automatically reflected on the displays in real time. Users can also book an available room directly from the touchscreen, without switching to another system.
Together, the software and hardware create a connected room booking experience, from reservation to arrival.
The difference is visible throughout the meeting area. Each display's LED status bar changes color to indicate room availability, allowing users to identify available and occupied spaces before entering the room.
For tenants and visitors, this means less uncertainty when looking for a meeting room, immediate access to up-to-date booking information, and the convenience of making an ad-hoc reservation directly on the spot.
