In addition to limiting the ecological impact of our products, we also strive to promote sustainable business in our offices, warehouses and production facilities. Through the use of low power-consuming lights and energy-saving heating and air conditioning, we make sure our office is managed sustainably. Our staff comes to the office using mostly electric-powered vehicles.
Our warehouse uses recycled paper for its paper-based packaging and recycles all waste packaging materials. It also handles all products using electric forklifts that are charged using green energy. Furthermore, our production facilities work as energy efficient as possible, use less plastic and produce less waste during production.
We care about how the materials in our products are sourced and about meeting applicable requirements for substances used in electrical and electronic equipment. That is why we place a strong focus on responsible sourcing and greater transparency throughout our supply chain.
Responsible mineral sourcing
Our products may contain components that use tin, tantalum, tungsten or gold (3TG), which are commonly used in the electronics industry. We work with our suppliers to promote the responsible sourcing of these minerals and to better understand their origin and supply chain.
Where relevant, we ask suppliers to provide responsible-sourcing information, for example through the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT). Our approach supports the objectives of EU Regulation 2017/821 on the responsible sourcing of minerals from conflict-affected and high-risk areas. We expect our suppliers and business partners to support responsible sourcing principles and to cooperate with reasonable requests for supply-chain information. Responsible sourcing is part of ProDVX’s broader commitment to ethical business practices and supply-chain management.
RoHS compliance
ProDVX products comply with applicable EU RoHS requirements (Directive 2011/65/EU, as amended). RoHS restricts the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, including lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, certain flame retardants and certain phthalates. These restrictions help reduce potential risks to human health and the environment and support safer handling and recycling of electronic equipment.
REACH compliance
We also follow the applicable requirements of the EU REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, which regulates the production, import, and use of chemical substances and the potential impact that they could have on human health and the environment. As part of this, we work with our supply chain to obtain relevant information about restricted substances and substances of very high concern (SVHCs) used in our products and components.
