Types of Data Processed

  • Event data (Facebook): Information transmitted to Facebook through Facebook pixels, involving actions and interactions (e.g., website visits, content interactions, app installations, product purchases). This data is processed to create target groups for content and advertising (custom audiences) and is devoid of actual content, login information, and contact details. Facebook deletes event data after a maximum of two years or upon the deletion of our Facebook account.
  • Inventory data (e.g., names, addresses).
  • Content data (e.g., entries in online forms).
  • Contact details (e.g., email, telephone numbers).
  • Meta/communication data (e.g., device information, IP addresses).

3.1. ProDVX may release updates, patches, or security improvements for AOSP devices from time to time.

3.2. Updates may include enhancements, bug fixes, and feature improvements. ProDVX is not obligated to provide updates for any specific duration unless contractually agreed.

3.3. Installing unauthorized software or modifying system components may void your warranty and could affect device functionality or security.

We engage in data processing from our contractual and business partners, such as customers and interested parties (collectively referred to as "contractual partners"), within the scope of contractual and comparable legal relationships. This includes associated measures and communication with contractual partners (or pre-contractual), for instance, responding to inquiries.

This data processing serves to fulfill contractual obligations, safeguard our rights, and manage administrative tasks related to information and business organization. Data of contractual partners is shared with third parties within legal limits, as necessary for the mentioned purposes, to fulfill legal obligations, or with the consent of data subjects (e.g., telecommunications, transport, and other auxiliary services involved).

Contractual partners are informed about alternative processing forms, such as for marketing purposes, as part of this data protection declaration.

We specify the required data for the aforementioned purposes before or during data collection, e.g., through online forms, special markings (e.g., colors or symbols like asterisks), or in person.

Data is deleted after the expiration of statutory warranty and similar obligations, typically after 4 years, unless stored in a customer account for legal archiving reasons (e.g., for tax purposes, usually 10 years). Data received as part of an order is deleted after the order concludes, following the order specifications.

For services provided through third-party platforms, the terms and conditions and data protection notices of the respective providers apply in the relationship between users and providers.

Customer Account:

Contractual partners can establish an account within our online offering (e.g., customer or user account, "customer account"). If creating a customer account is necessary, partners are informed about the required information for registration. Customer accounts are non-public and cannot be indexed by search engines. During registration, logins, and use of the customer account, we store customers' IP addresses and access times to verify registration and prevent misuse.

Upon cancellation of a customer account, associated data is deleted unless retention is legally required. Customers are responsible for securing their data upon account termination.

Economic Analyses and Market Research:

For business purposes and identifying market trends, customer wishes, and user behavior, we analyze data on transactions, contracts, and inquiries. Analyses are conducted for business evaluations, marketing, and market research, considering user profiles. User privacy is considered, and data is processed pseudonymously and, if possible, anonymously.

Shop and E-commerce:

We process customer data to facilitate product selection, purchase, or order, along with payment and delivery execution. Service providers may be utilized for order fulfillment, including postal, forwarding, and shipping companies, as well as banks and payment service providers for payment transactions.

Project and Development Services:

Customer and client data is processed for selecting, purchasing, or commissioning services, works, and associated activities, including payment and provision.

Offer of Software and Platform Services:

User data is processed to provide contractual services and ensure service security and development. Terms within contracts specify the necessary information for service provision.

Technical Services:

Data of customers and clients is processed for selecting, purchasing, or commissioning services or works, including payment and provision or execution to enable delivery.

A pseudonymous identifier is used for application functionality, generated during installation and deleted upon app removal.

Access to camera functions or saved recordings requires user authorization, serving app functionality.

Location History and Movement Profiles:

Through the acquisition of location data during the use of our application, we generate a location history revealing the geographic movements of devices over a specific timeframe, enabling inferences about users' movement profiles. The sole purpose of the location history is to facilitate the intended functionality of our application, aligning with its description to users or its typical and expected capabilities.

Registration, Login, and User Account:

Users have the ability to create a user account, providing mandatory information during registration, processed for the purpose of fulfilling contractual obligations and delivering the user account. This involves handling login information (username, password, and email address). The storage of users' IP addresses and the timing of user actions is based on our legitimate interests and those of users in safeguarding against misuse and unauthorized use. This data is generally not shared with third parties unless necessary for legal claims or obligations.

Users may receive email notifications about pertinent processes related to their user account, such as technical changes.

Comments and Posts:

When users leave comments or posts, their IP addresses may be stored based on our legitimate interests, primarily for security reasons in case of illegal content. We reserve the right to process user information for spam detection and, on the same legal basis, store users' IP addresses during surveys to prevent multiple voting. Personal information provided in comments and posts, along with contact and website information, is stored permanently until a user objects.

Comment Subscriptions:

Users can subscribe to follow-up comments with consent, receiving a confirmation email for verification. Users can unsubscribe at any time, with the confirmation email providing cancellation details. For consent proof, we store registration time and users' IP addresses, deleting this information upon subscription cancellation. Unsubscribed email addresses may be stored for up to three years based on legitimate interests to defend against claims, with individual deletion requests honored.

Participation in a conference involves the processing of participants' personal data by conference platforms. The extent of processing depends on the specific conference requirements, including mandatory data (e.g., access data or real names) and optional information provided by participants. Conference platforms may process participant data for security purposes or service optimization in addition to facilitating the conference. Processed data includes personal details (first name, last name), contact information (email address, telephone number), access data (access codes or passwords), profile pictures, professional status/function information, IP addresses, details about participants' devices, operating systems, browsers, technical and linguistic settings, content of communication processes (chat entries, audio and video data), and the use of available functions (e.g., surveys). Communication content is encrypted where technically feasible. If participants are registered users on conference platforms, additional data may be processed in accordance with the platform's agreement.

Logging and Recordings:

Transparency is maintained when logging text entries, participation results (e.g., from surveys), and video or audio recordings. Participants are informed in advance, and consent may be sought if necessary.

Participants' Data Protection Measures:

Participants are urged to review conference platforms' data protection information, configure optimal security and data protection settings within platform settings, and maintain data and privacy protection during video conferences (e.g., informing roommates, securing doors, and using background obscuring where possible). Sharing conference room links and access data with unauthorized third parties is strictly prohibited.

Facebook Pixel and Custom Audiences:

Utilizing the Facebook pixel or similar functions, such as transmitting event data or contact information through app interfaces, enables Facebook to identify visitors to our online platform. This identification allows Facebook to categorize these visitors into target groups for displaying advertisements, known as "Facebook Ads." Our use of the Facebook pixel focuses on presenting our ads exclusively to Facebook users and those within the partner services of Facebook (referred to as "Audience Network" at https://www.facebook.com/audie...) who have demonstrated interest in our online content or exhibit specific characteristics (e.g., interest in particular topics or products, evident from their website visits).

The Facebook pixel also ensures that our ads align with users' potential interests, enhancing user experience. Additionally, it enables us to gauge the effectiveness of Facebook advertisements for statistical and market research purposes, assessing whether users visited our website after clicking on a Facebook ad (referred to as "conversion measurement").

We, along with Facebook Ireland Ltd., engage in the collection or receipt of "event data," data collected by Facebook through the Facebook pixel and similar functions during activities on our online platform. This partnership serves various purposes, including displaying content and advertising information based on users' presumed interests, delivering commercial and transaction-related messages (e.g., through Facebook Messenger), and enhancing ad delivery and personalization of features and content.

We have a special agreement with Facebook ("Addendum for Controllers" at https://www.facebook.com/legal...) outlining security measures Facebook must adhere to (https://www.facebook.com/legal...) and acknowledging Facebook's commitment to fulfilling the rights of users.
