Wrocław University enhances campus efficiency with ProDVX display solutions

The Wrocław University of Economics is one of the largest economic universities in Poland. To optimise campus operations, the university implemented an advanced digital system using ProDVX interactive displays. This system improves information dissemination, automates processes, and enhances overall efficiency in managing classroom availability, AV control, and lighting systems. Facing the challenge: Improved efficiency on campus

Real-time access to classroom availability, timetables, and device control is essential for delivering a smooth learning experience and managing large-scale campus operations. Wrocław University addressed these challenges by integrating an advanced software with ProDVX devices to increase campus efficiency and effectively managing AV systems, lighting, and remote conferencing.

Seamless integration and installation with SimpleAV distribution and technology support

The project was completed thanks to the "AV Projekt – Profesjonalne Systemy Audiowizualne – Adam Borowiecki" company, in cooperation with SimpleAV - the value-added distributor of ProDVX in Poland. SimpleAV provided technological support and consulting in the selection of appropriate devices and software integration. Over 100 ProDVX displays with a diagonal of 10, 15 and 22 inches were installed at the University. These displays are used for classroom information, AV system control, and centralised device management, ensuring smooth and efficient campus operations.

Room signage & control panels by ProDVX

ProDVX's 10-inch Android Panel PCs serve as room signage displays, installed outside lecture halls to provide real-time classroom availability and scheduling updates. The APPC-10SLB is ideal for this function, featuring a surround LED bar to indicate room status and powered by PoE, eliminating the need for additional power sources.

Beyond signage, both 10, 15, and 22-inch Android Panel PCs are used to manage lighting, audio, video, and AV controls. Users can adjust lighting intensity and colour, control cameras and microphones, and switch AV signals, including remote broadcasting. Multiple control panels cater to lecturers, operators, and auditorium managers, ensuring streamlined, centralised management.
